My Week at Work – #ootd series Vol. 3

I started this new series to break up some of the monotony of recipe posts to show you what I wear to work; I hope you enjoy it!

I pride myself on finding really interesting thrifted (and vintage) clothing and pairing them with more modern pieces to make up my own style. I love being able to show off my creativity at work while still fitting under the “business casual” umbrella.

See what I’m wearing!

Blue polka dot button down: Goodwill
Black bow tie vest: ModCloth
Red corduroy flares: Old Navy clearance
Black shoes: Sierra Trading Post (they were a one-off that we didn’t get many of, so I can’t remember the brand, sorry!)

red and black ensemble

Red collared 3/4 sleeve cardigan: Goodwill
Retro-inspired kitchen gadget button down: Handmade by my mom! (Thanks, mum I love you!)
Black capris: Old Navy Pixie pants (an old favourite style of pants)
Smartwool socks
Black shoes: same as above!

Lace shirt: Target clearance
Yellow camisole: Forever21 basics
Plaid wool skirt: Goodwill/Savers
Black boots: Kohl’s
Peter Pan collar: Etsy

Psychedelic shirt: Target Funny story is that I bought this shirt before having weight loss surgery (in a size large). It ended up too big on me (duh) but I didn’t want to get rid of it but I ended up finding an XS at Goodwill! I brought it home… and it didn’t fit… I go to a different Goodwill a few weeks later.. and BOOM. There it is in a Small. It was fate. And its my favourite shirt.
MINI sweatshirt: MINI Lifestyle
Plaid wool pants: Woolrich brand from Goodwill
Faux leather booties: Kohl’s

I’m new to this whole outfit of the day/week kind of thing, so if I’ve missed something, let me know!

Like what you see? Drop me a line! Want to see something different? I want to hear from you!

Thanks, as always for hanging out with me, friends.
