These Are a Few of My Favourite Things

Below are some of my favorite equipment that I have in my home and use nearly every day. Each item makes my day and my life that much easier in the kitchen.

handheld mixer – mine is old and off brand, but it still works! I even have a manual handheld mixer that I found at Goodwill that I sometimes use for shits and giggles. I’ve included a link to an inexpensive alternative!

immersion blender
Immersion blender – great to use for sauces when you don’t feel like transferring containers! I’ve included a link to an inexpensive alternative!

slow cooker
Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker with Digital Timer – perfect staple for any kitchen

handheld spiralizer – this is what mine looks like, get whatever you want and then proceed to spiralize EVERYTHING

So. Much. Glassware. The majority is thrifted and goodwill pyrex including some colourful vintage mixing bowls passed down from my mum. I’ve been slowly replacing all of my aluminum and metal cook- and bakeware will glass and silicone

CAST IRON – nothing beats the heat retention and durability of cast iron. I’ve literally got a hodge podge of other pots (think sauce pans and stock pots) and cast iron pans and a cast dutch oven, too. Again, Goodwill and flea markets are your best best for these kinds of finds!
